About
Sarah Facciolo
I have been doing this for 16 years in total and from day one I told myself I wanted to do something that I am in love with and passionate about for my work The one thing that does that for me is music.
My ultimate goal with all my clients is getting the results they need and achieving as many goals as we can through each campaign. What music does to me personally is what drives me to reflect that same feeling toward the press I reach out to on a daily basis.
I work with no limits and go after everything I believe in. Even if the outlet seemed impossible to get I will still pitch it and get the feedback that is needed. I think the more feedback and response we get the more it opens doors to reach out to the press next time. Just starting the relationship is the one of the most important aspect as a publicist.
. They call me the CIA because I am always looking for the next best thing and honestly there is always a way to find any contacts. That is my slogan βIt is all about the passion for me. I work with no limits and always looking for the next best thing.β
I began my career as an intern at Columbia Records where i got to work during the Adele 21 campaign where it really got me to see the corporate world and prepare me for my first job.
I then graduated from college and landed my first gig at Razor and Tie Records for 3 years. At the time the label was just doing rock music and I was working bands like, Augustana, The Ready Set, The Pretty Reckless, Chiodos, The Hold Steady, KYNG, All That Remains, Hatebreed, Nonpoint, The Sword, HIM, P.O.D., INVSN, For Today, Jon Batiste, Born Cages, Protest The Hero, Deaf Havana, Yellowcard, All That Remains, Such Gold, Jon McLaughlin, Dar Williams, Dee Snider and Bebe Winans.
While I was there I felt like I was pigeoned holed in one genre and not expanding my skills so I left and then went to Press Here Publicity for about a year where I got to work bands like Rival Sons, The Wombats, Bag Raiders, Potty Mouth, Slaves (UK), Moon Taxi, LP, Alberta Cross, Big Talk, The Brinks, Favored Nations, Harriet, HURTS, Lenka and Garden City Movement. This is where I got to learn how to pitch to the tastemakers like Stereogum, Pitchfork, Billboard etc.
While I was there I also learned what it was like to be an indie publicist and wanted to start to sign my own bands than working under someone since I was making a name for myself. So I left and found Right Angle PR where I build my own roster and made long term relationships with both my clients and the press. I worked on campaigns such as KT Tunstall, Jesse McCartney, Joshua Radin, Marc Broussard, The Wrecks, Paul McDonald, Lauren Duski, Kate Herzig, Red Wanting Blue, *repeat repeat, Tessa Violet, Swimming With Bears, Megan Davies, Future Thieves, Ninet and more.
Once I got an understand of the business side and as an indie publicist I decided I wanted to open my own company and have all the control. So I created Facci PR that is now up and running for about 6 years. And all my clients from Right Angle have come with me. So right now my client list are the following: John Oates, KT Tunstall, Jesse McCartney, Tessa Violet, Anna Akana, New Politics, Lauren Duski, Pablo Dylan, Ivory Layne, Ziggy Alberts, *repeat repeat, Blackbox (Marketing Company), and more.
